The 28th Rally Isla de Los Volcanes-Trofeo Ciudad de Arrecife, scheduled to take place from August 5th to 8th, is in the final stages of organizational details. The event, part of the S-CER (Spanish Dirt Rally Championship), will close its registration period this Wednesday at 2:00 PM. The organization reports that applications are progressing well, from participants in both national and Canary Islands championships, and are being processed through the RFEDA's specific platform.
Teams requiring ferry transport have been instructed to contact the organization to benefit from available assistance. The organizing entity, CD. Evesport, has held key meetings with security forces. The National Police Corps will reinforce security at crucial points such as the start and final trophy ceremonies in Arrecife. Meanwhile, the Civil Guard will assist in managing large crowds of fans at the special stages and in traffic control for affected roads.
This security coordination is essential for the event's smooth running. The final general security coordination meeting is scheduled for Thursday morning. In parallel, the Minister of Sports of the Island Council, José Víctor Rodríguez, met with the president of CD. Evesport, Juan Monzón, to review the organization less than two weeks before the event. Both discussed organizational aspects and the latest updates for the official presentation.
The Evesport staff has also been working with officials, road crews, timekeepers, and other collaborators to ensure the precise execution of each task during the competition. All operations for the RTIV26 (Isla de Los Volcanes Dirt Rally) are proceeding as planned, with high anticipation for the main week of the event in early August.
