Rescue in Puerto del Carmen for possible shoulder fracture

A person was rescued on Wednesday afternoon in the Puerto del Carmen marina after falling in a rocky area, presenting a possible shoulder fracture.

An incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon in the Puerto del Carmen marina, where a person required rescue following a fall in a stony area.
The alert was received around 7:35 PM. Personnel from the Consorcio de Seguridad y Emergencias de Lanzarote were dispatched to the scene. The Policía Local informed the rescue teams about the person's condition and location.
Rescuers located the individual in the rocky zone and, after an initial assessment, observed a possible shoulder fracture.
Following the intervention, the personnel assisted the person out of the area and walked them to an ambulance. Healthcare staff from the Servicio de Urgencias Canario (SUC) took over their care.
Once the person was under the responsibility of the health services, the Consorcio's operation was concluded.
