The Santa Cruz de La Palma City Council will host 'El Talentón', an intensive innovation and youth entrepreneurship day, on April 25, bringing together fifty young people at the Museum of Contemporary Art.

This initiative, scheduled from 09:00 to 19:30, aims to stimulate creativity, leadership, and digital competencies among participants. The program will connect young individuals with specialized mentors, innovative tools, and concrete opportunities for their personal and professional development.
The day's methodology will combine training, teamwork, and mentorship through short educational modules, gamification, and project development culminating in a presentation before a professional jury. The event will enable young people to design solutions to real challenges, strengthening their connection to the territory and their capacity to generate initiatives with social and economic impact.

"From the City Council, we are committed to generating real opportunities for our youth, creating spaces where they can develop their talent, acquire new skills, and connect with the professional future they wish to build. 'El Talentón' is a clear example of how investing in youth is investing in the future of Santa Cruz de La Palma."

Asier Antona · Mayor of Santa Cruz de La Palma
Meanwhile, Jesús Pérez, Youth Councillor, highlighted the transformative nature of the program, stating that these experiences allow young people to step out of their comfort zones and develop crucial skills such as communication, leadership, and problem-solving. Estefanía Castro, the event's promoter, emphasized that 'El Talentón' marks a before and after for many young people, helping them discover their potential and connect with like-minded individuals.
The activity, aimed at young people aged 16 to 35, is free and includes breakfast, lunch, and professional support throughout the day, fostering an environment of learning, coexistence, and networking.
