The Official State Gazette has published the call for grants to finance the repair of infrastructure and public services in the Canary Islands, following emergencies recorded in early 2026.

The resolution, promoted by the Secretariat of State for Territorial Policy, allows island councils and other local administrations to access funds to restore damaged equipment and facilities. This aid addresses civil protection emergency episodes that occurred between February 10 and March 30, 2026.
The funding program covers projects for the restoration of essential public services and the repair of the island road network. The measure is based on the agreement reached by the Council of Ministers on April 7, aiming to ensure the recovery of infrastructure in territories declared as areas seriously affected by an emergency.
The application period runs until 3:00 PM on July 30, 2026. Processing must be carried out electronically through the AURA application, available on the electronic office of the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory.
