Opera illuminates Betancuria in a magical night

Giacomo Puccini's opera 'Madame Butterfly' echoed this Saturday in the historic town of Betancuria, transforming its nocturnal silence into a magical evening.

The association Opera Fuerteventura, led by tenor José Concepción, chose the emblematic location to stage the acclaimed bel canto work. The performance took place in the municipal parking lot, next to the pool, filling the ancient streets of the town with music.
The Fuerteventura Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Tulio Gagliardo, accompanied the adaptation of Giacomo Puccini's opera. The event had the collaboration of the Betancuria City Council, presided over by Jonathan Suárez.

A magical night

At the end of the performance, Concepción came out to greet the audience, who responded with an emotional ovation, thus concluding an unforgettable night for those in attendance.
