The Villa de Ingenio is preparing to host the fourth edition of the 'Reíslas' Humor Festival, which will bring a program of 27 artists and 55 shows starting in September.

The Federico García Lorca Cultural Center in the Villa de Ingenio will be the venue for the fourth edition of the 'Reíslas' Humor Festival, set to take place starting this September. The festival will tour a total of 22 different stage venues across the eight islands, presenting a varied program with 27 artists. This year, the event stands out for featuring more Canarian comedians than ever before, representing 38 percent of the 55 scheduled performances.
'Reíslas' brings together top names in Spanish comedy with emerging Canarian comedians, offering a diverse show designed to captivate all types of audiences. The proposal aims to establish itself as a guaranteed formula for success in Spain.
The first performance in Ingenio will be the Canarian costumbrista humor show ‘Las Noches con Cristito’. On Friday, September 18, at 8:30 PM, a fun look at everyday situations in the Canary Islands will be presented, told with Cristito's characteristic close and authentic humor.
The following day, Saturday, September 19, at 8:00 PM, the same venue will host ‘The Locos’, the show by Pedro Ángel Roca. In this performance, the comedian confronts his stage fright, creating an unpredictable show that varies with each performance and where the audience becomes an accomplice.
The festival in Ingenio will be completed with performances by Tertawa on October 9 and Abraham Cupeiro on October 23. These events are supported by the Ingenio City Council, through its Department of Culture.
