The Canary Islands Latin Sailing Federation has postponed the fifth round of the Aguas de Teror Championship, scheduled for this Saturday in the bay of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, due to adverse weather conditions.

The Regatta Committee made the decision after assessing wind conditions throughout the morning. Sustained winds of up to 19 knots were recorded, with gusts exceeding 25 knots, reaching the maximum limit allowed by the Regatta Instructions to ensure the safety of the crews.
The day's schedule featured key matchups, including the undefeated leader Portuarios Puertos de Las Palmas against Chacalote Comercial Sanrob, as well as a highly anticipated race between Hospital La Paloma Pueblo Guanche and Villa de Teror Munchitos.
The Federation will announce a new date for the postponed races in the coming days. Meanwhile, officials are monitoring weather forecasts to determine whether Sunday's third round of the championship can proceed as planned, given the expected high winds in the bay.
