The incident prompted an immediate response from emergency services following an alert to the Canary Islands 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Center. Personnel from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) arrived at the scene to provide initial medical care.
Due to the severity of his injuries, which included chest trauma, the man was evacuated by a medicalized SUC helicopter to the Dr. Negrín University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
The rescue operation involved members of the Gran Canaria Emergency Consortium, who secured the local football pitch for the helicopter's landing and takeoff. Local Police, Civil Guard officers, and Civil Protection volunteers also assisted at the scene.
