Rally Islas Canarias 2026 Unveils Detailed Itinerary and Schedule

The motorsport competition will traverse Gran Canaria from Thursday, April 23rd, to Sunday, April 26th, with stages in various locations.

The 2026 edition of the Rally Islas Canarias has revealed its detailed itinerary, with the competition kicking off on Thursday, April 23rd, in Santa Brígida and extending until Sunday, April 26th, across the island of Gran Canaria.

The motorsport event, which attracts numerous fans, will begin with the traditional shakedown in Santa Brígida. This initial timed test features a route combining good uphill asphalt with a technical and narrow downhill section, concluding on a fast and wide stretch. The area, near the Bandama Natural Monument, also offers a rich landscape.
On Thursday, April 23rd, after the shakedown starting at 11:01 AM, the action will move to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with a stadium stage at 6:05 PM, designed for spectacularity with two cars on track simultaneously.
On Friday, April 24th, drivers will tackle iconic stages such as Valleseco – Artenara (08:20 AM), known for its winding and fast layout, and Tejeda – San Mateo (09:23 AM), offering spectacular views of Roque Nublo. The day will also include the demanding Mogán – La Aldea stage (11:16 AM), which passes through the famous Los Azulejos area, and a repeat of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria stage at 7:45 PM.
On Saturday, April 25th, the competition will continue with the Maspalomas stage (08:20 AM), which will demand the utmost from teams due to its speed. This will be followed by Arucas-Firgas-Teror (09:35 AM), with its mythical Los Castillos – Zumacal section, and the long and selective Moya-Gáldar stage (10:51 AM), which will test tire choices due to the variety of asphalt types and conditions.
Finally, on Sunday, April 26th, the rally will conclude with new features such as the combined stages in Ingenio-Telde-Valsequillo (07:35 AM), starting in La Pasadilla, and the fast and winding route of Santa Lucía-Agüimes (09:05 AM), which delves into Las Vallas.
