The Teror City Council has opened the application period for subsidies aimed at sports clubs and individual athletes, with a total allocation of €69,000.

Applications can be submitted from September 17 to October 7, 2026, through the Teror City Council's electronic headquarters, or by any other legally established means. Official documentation templates can be downloaded from the municipal website (www.teror.es) or collected from the Sports Department.
The Department of Sports, led by councilor Moisés Rodríguez, has allocated €65,000 to sports clubs and €4,000 to individual athletes. The requirements and necessary documentation are detailed in the official call.
Aid for sports clubs aims to promote the practice of various sports among the residents of Teror, partially covering their usual operating expenses in municipal facilities. For individual athletes, the goal is to increase their participation and sporting level by financing part of the expenses for official Canary Islands, Spain, or international championships, as well as other sporting events.
