The municipality of Teror celebrated its traditional Livestock Fair with great success, an event that brought together approximately 350 animals and 37 farmers from the island. The festive day attracted a large number of visitors, exceeding organizational expectations and reinforcing the commitment to local traditions.
Activities proceeded smoothly, including a performance by the Parranda El Lebrillo. The highlight was the presentation of trophies and prizes to the farmers and participants. This year, the Teror City Council allocated €21,460 in prizes and transport aid for the animals, an increase of nearly €5,000 compared to the previous year.

Irene Ortega, Councillor for Rural Development of the Teror City Council, positively assessed the event, highlighting both the participation of the farmers and the excellent public reception. The organization was supported by various entities, including the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Food Sovereignty of the Government of the Canary Islands, the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, the Osorio Nature Classroom, and companies such as Grupo Capisa, Coopecana S.L., Grupo Haricana, Arehucas, Pasteror, Disaterura S.L., Estrella Galicia, Ahembo – 7Up – Clipper, Global, Los Nueces, Restaurante Ca´Chano, Almacenes Báez, and Aguas de Teror.
