The Arrecife City Council, through its Culture Department, joins the celebration of International Music Day (IMD) 2026. This collaboration involves organizing a concert by the Tinerfeño duo Lula Mora this Saturday, October 3rd, starting at 7 PM, at the Casa de la Cultura Agustín de la Hoz.
The performance, with free admission until full capacity, is part of an initiative promoted by Phe Team, sponsored by Turismo Islas Canarias, and also supported by the Government of the Canary Islands and the Canarian Institute for Cultural Development. The project aims to connect Canarian and Galician music, blending music, poetry, and other scenic languages.

Lula Mora, formed by Sara Caride and Silvia Izquierdo in December 2022, fuses elements of Canarian and Galician cultures with a sound linked to minimalist indie-folk and singer-songwriter styles. Their repertoire addresses themes such as experiences, changes, hope, identity, and sisterhood, incorporating instruments like synthesizers, guitar, double bass, and ukulele. In 2025, they released their first album, Hogar, defined as a reflection on identity and the processes accompanying relocation and starting anew.
Their artistic proposal also incorporates elements from theater and performance, along with a dreamlike visual imagery, so that music, narrative, and staging form part of the same artistic experience. Their latest single, Aliento, released last January, also features a strong vindicative character.
