The Urban Planning Department of the Arrecife City Council, led by Maciot Cabrera, continues to foster residential activity in the capital through new urban planning files. The Local Government Board approved several projects this Wednesday, totaling 17 new homes across three key interventions.
The initiatives include the construction of six homes in a four-story building between party walls in the area of León y Castillo and Guanapay streets. Additionally, four homes will be created through the renovation and expansion of a property on Portugal street, which will increase from two to three stories. Another seven homes will be developed in a two-story building with a basement on Jaime I street.
Furthermore, a file has been processed for the adaptation of a commercial space and the renovation of a four-story building known as the Pensión San Ginés.
Maciot Cabrera, head of Urban Planning, highlighted that these files are part of the municipal effort to facilitate Arrecife's residential growth by streamlining the urban planning process for new projects.
The Department maintains consistent activity in urban development and housing, with interventions aimed at incorporating new residences, optimizing the use of existing plots and buildings, and revitalizing various areas of the city.
The approved files cover various forms of urban intervention, from constructing new buildings between party walls to renovating and expanding existing properties, thereby contributing to an increased residential supply within the city itself.
Cabrera emphasized the importance of daily work within Urban Planning to unblock and process projects, progressively increasing the number of available homes in Arrecife.
