The Councilor for Culture, Abigail González, expressed her satisfaction in contributing from the City Council to bring contemporary dance out of its usual stages and closer to citizens. "We are turning our squares into meeting places with culture and artistic talent," she stated.
The Traslación Festival, founded in 2018 by its artistic director Acerina H. Toledo, aims to showcase dance and bring it to various locations in Lanzarote and other islands. The initiative combines premieres, new creations, and pieces selected through an open call and the Acieloabierto Network, fostering the dissemination of work by companies and creators from different places. By collaborating in this new edition, Cultura Arrecife reinforces its commitment to accessible and diverse cultural programming.
