The 'Waves of Well-being and Health 2026' campaign, organized by the Department of Seniors of the Arrecife City Council, concludes after three months of outdoor physical activity at Reducto Beach, with over 1,000 participants.

The free initiative, promoted by the Department of Seniors led by Rosmen Quevedo, has seen the highest attendance since its launch, establishing itself as a benchmark for promoting health and well-being among the capital's elderly population.
From July 15 to October 15, participants enjoyed free sessions of various sports disciplines, including toning, Zumba, Pilates, healthy back exercises, aquagym, and core stretching. The activities took place from Monday to Friday on Arrecife's main beach, offering a privileged seaside environment for practicing healthy habits and fostering community.

"I want to thank all the people who have participated and who, once again this year, have trusted in 'Waves of Well-being'. The fact that we have gathered more than 1,000 people in these three months demonstrates the interest this initiative sparks and encourages us to continue supporting activities that promote the health, physical exercise, and well-being of our seniors."
