The incident occurred around 5:25 PM on Friday, August 28th, in the town of Arrecife.
Upon arrival, emergency services confirmed that the occupant of the vehicle was already outside and in good condition, meaning no extrication was necessary.
Personnel from the Consorcio de Seguridad y Emergencias de Lanzarote and officers from the Policía Local de Arrecife were dispatched to the accident site.
Once authorized by the Local Police, firefighters removed the vehicle from the roadway using a winch. They then cleaned the oil spilled on the road surface with sepiolite, concluding their operation.
