The Cleaning and Employment departments of the Arrecife City Council continue with the development of this initiative, which has already progressively intervened in neighborhoods such as Altavista, Morro Angelito, and Titerroy. In these areas, specific deep cleaning, conditioning, and urban environment improvement actions have been carried out in the capital of Lanzarote.
This area-based work approach seeks a more efficient and constant intervention, complementing routine maintenance and responding to residents' needs. After recently completing work in Titerroy, the team will deploy this Wednesday, May 6, in the Maneje neighborhood.
The streets where intensive cleaning, waste removal, and public space adaptation tasks will be carried out include Managua, avenida de Los Geranios, Fayna, Princesa Yaiza, Princesa Teguise, Tinguanfaya, Isla Margarita, Princesa Artiaga, Maracaibo, and Caracas.
As part of the weekly planning of the plan, promoted by the Cleaning and Employment areas, an informative leaflet distribution began last Monday in the Maneje area. The objective is to inform residents about the development of the actions and request their collaboration during the execution of the works, especially regarding mobility and adherence to temporary signage.
The main objectives of the Comprehensive Cleaning Plan are to improve the general condition of the neighborhoods, reinforce the presence of municipal services on the streets, and move towards a more cared-for city, through a sustained strategy based on planning, inter-departmental coordination, and direct intervention on the ground.
