The adaptation works at Arrecife's Civic Center are progressing as scheduled, transforming the former Multipurpose Hall into a state-of-the-art cultural infrastructure. This new venue is set to become a benchmark for the performing arts and artistic programming in the capital of Lanzarote.

The future theater will boast a usable area of 365 square meters and a total capacity for 380 spectators. One of its most innovative features will be the installation of retractable or telescopic stands, allowing the space's configuration to be modified to suit various activities, from theatrical performances to conferences or screenings.

Furthermore, the design includes adapted seating for people with reduced mobility, ensuring accessibility in line with recommendations from organizations such as the IMSERSO. The technical equipment will incorporate advanced lighting, sound, and audiovisual resources to guarantee the quality of events.

In parallel with the construction, staff from the City Council's Culture Department are receiving specific training for operating the new systems. This preparation aims to ensure optimal functioning from the outset and to offer a quality cultural service to citizens and local groups.

The project represents an investment exceeding 950,000 euros, in addition to the corresponding Canarian Indirect Tax (IGIC). The City Council emphasizes that this initiative addresses a historical demand from the population for its own performing arts venue. The opening of the Municipal Theater, scheduled for the coming months, will expand Arrecife's cultural offerings and boost the social and economic activity of the sector.
