The Fundación SAMU will manage the day center in Maneje, Arrecife, for the care of minors, following the service award by the City Council's Social Welfare department. The three-year contract, valued at nearly 674,200 euros, brings substantial improvements to the socio-educational project.

The day center, which serves minors and their families, will see its quality enhanced through this new contract. The initiative, supported by the Arrecife City Council, aims to optimize the care provided to users.
The comprehensive service renewal, set to last three years, includes the addition of new professional profiles. For the first time, the center will have a psychology specialist and a social worker, among other new experts. The new contract also incorporates a daily transportation service for the minors.
Interventions will cover academic support, socio-educational activities, emotional care and support, promotion of healthy habits, and educational leisure activities. The goal is to create a safe space where minors can develop personally and socially.

"It is a resource for accompaniment, prevention, and support for families, which is why it was crucial for the new contract to respond to the needs we have identified day by day."
