The work focuses on electrical installation, plumbing, floor and wall cladding, painting, and glazing, aiming to revitalize this essential space for the social and cultural life of the town.
The project, fully funded by the Tías City Council, includes transforming a storage room into two new restrooms, one of which is adapted for people with reduced mobility, and demolishing and rebuilding the cafeteria bar.
The electrical system will be completely renovated to meet new demands, with an application for increased power from the distribution company. Additionally, a photovoltaic plant for self-consumption will be installed on the roof, connected to the building's electrical grid.
“"This project will allow us to revitalize a fundamental meeting space for the social, cultural, and participatory life of the town, also incorporating significant energy improvements, such as the photovoltaic installation for self-consumption."
The current facilities include a main hall of 145 square meters, a stage, dressing rooms, restrooms, a bar-cafeteria with a kitchen, a bar counter, storage areas, gardens, a 115-square-meter terrace, and a bowling court, in addition to administrative rooms.
