The Santa Lucía de Tirajana City Council has allocated 305 free bus seats for residents wishing to attend the Ofrenda Romería del Pino in Teror on September 7th, accompanying the municipal float.

Registration to secure a seat on the free buses is now open and can be completed at the Municipal Ateneo or at the City Council offices in Santa Lucía Casco. This initiative aims to facilitate resident participation in one of the island's most significant festivities.
On the day of the pilgrimage, four buses will depart from the Museo de la Zafra, and an additional bus will leave from Parque de Santa Lucía casco. The departure towards Teror is scheduled for 2:00 PM, with the return to Santa Lucía de Tirajana at 10:00 PM. Furthermore, the Cabildo will arrange transportation for the Parranda El Paradero and the Santa Lucía de Tirajana Dance Group.
This year, the municipal float will feature the tomato as its central theme, an element representative of the history and economy of Santa Lucía de Tirajana. A large structure adorned with red tomatoes, created by municipal staff, will represent the council. As is tradition, the float will be accompanied by the mayor, council members, the parranda, the dance group, and any residents wishing to join the offering.
The City Council reminds attendees of the importance of wearing traditional Canarian attire to participate in the offering. The Councilor for Identity, José Miguel Vera, encouraged citizens to attend this festival of the island's patron saint, highlighting that each municipality contributes elements of its identity, and this year, the value of tomato cultivation is being recognized. Vera also announced that this year's float will be permanently displayed at the La Zafra Museum for use in future municipal events that promote the primary sector.
