The infrastructure will be located near the Lloret industrial area, a strategic point with high traffic volume. The main goal of this project is to reorganize traffic at one of the busiest access points to the island's capital, reducing the congestion that affects residents, workers, and transport operators daily.
The roundabout's design will improve connections between the LZ-101, the Altavista II industrial estate, and the area around San José Castle. In addition to improving traffic flow, the work aims to increase road safety by replacing the current intersection with a more orderly traffic system.
The project has already been drafted, and the authorities plan to tender the first phase of construction soon. The work will be carried out in stages to minimize traffic disruption in this area, which also serves as a route for heavy vehicles linked to the Los Mármoles Port.
