The incident occurred last Saturday, April 4, when a beachgoer noticed what appeared to be remnants of an abandoned bale in a coastal area and decided to notify the authorities, as reported by the La Oliva Town Council in a statement.
Officers from the Local Police were dispatched to the scene to conduct a thorough inspection. During the operation, they located 13 packages containing approximately 10.5 kilos of hashish inside a waste bin.
