Of this amount, 250,000 euros will be allocated to reinforce hiring promotion aid, managed by the Department of Economic Promotion, to extend its reach to the entire Majorero business community and improve employability.
Additionally, 404,394.50 euros are designated for a collaboration agreement with the University Foundation of Las Palmas (FULP) to develop professional internship programs for university and vocational training graduates in Fuerteventura companies. Furthermore, each of the Majorero fishing guilds will receive 20,000 euros for operating expenses.
15,000 euros are allocated for the initial phase of a project to locate and historically map native agricultural varieties of Fuerteventura, which will lay the groundwork for the creation of a seed bank by the Cabildo. Funds are also being made available to facilitate the attendance of primary sector professionals at events such as the XV National Goat Forum and the World Cheese Awards 2026.
For its part, the Tourism Board will allocate 70,000 euros to the tourism promotion of the Kite Festival in La Oliva and to the Chamber of Commerce of Fuerteventura for tourism promotion actions in national and international markets.
