The festival, one of the most established world music events in the archipelago, celebrates its twentieth anniversary. The main stage will feature international, national, and Canarian artists.
The opening day, Friday, July 3rd, will include performances by Marta Umpiérrez (7:45 PM), Chanela Clicka (9:00 PM), La Sra. Tomasa (10:30 PM), Femi Kuti & The Positive Force (12:00 AM), and Eskorzo (1:45 AM). DJ Woodhands will provide music between sets and at the closing.
On Saturday, July 4th, attendees can enjoy Arife (7:45 PM), Queralt Lahoz (9:00 PM), Kumbia Boruka (10:30 PM), Antonio Carmona (12:00 AM), and Pongo (1:45 AM), with DJ Woodhands returning for the inter-set sessions and the festival's closing.
As in previous years, FEM will also feature a parallel program of daytime activities in collaboration with the Cotillo Joven collective. Additionally, the Island Council's Transport Department will provide a special bus service to facilitate attendees' travel.
