The Cabildo of Fuerteventura, through the Island Library Center, has opened the application period for bookstores and publishers interested in participating in the 36th edition of the Fuerteventura Book Fair, themed «Reading Opens Borders». The event will take place from October 15th to 18th at the Plaza del Centenario of the Palace of Training and Congresses.

Bookstores, publishing houses, and associations wishing to have a stand at the fair must submit their application through the official registry of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura. The registration period will be open from August 5th until September 11th.
Interested associations must have a book sales point at the fair and comply with the event's regulations.
The Island Library Center, the organizing body, is already working on a program that will include dozens of book presentations, author encounters, and signing sessions.
Furthermore, the fair will feature an extensive program of performances where books and literature will dialogue with other artistic disciplines such as circus, theater, music, and dance.
