The island of Fuerteventura served as the main setting for the filming of Haciendo amigos, a comedy scheduled to premiere in cinemas on July 10.

The feature film, directed by David Marqués, was shot last February in various locations across Puerto del Rosario, Pájara, and the Oasis Wildlife Fuerteventura park.
The Sony Pictures International Productions project involves Santiago Segura as director, actor, and producer, with executive production by María Luisa Gutiérrez. The screenplay was penned by Marta González de Vega, who also appears in the cast alongside Megan Montaner and other actors.
The plot of Haciendo amigos delves into how characters overcome their prejudices, being compelled to discover each other from a fresh perspective.

"It is important to continue facilitating these types of filmings, so that Fuerteventura remains a leading destination for audiovisual productions, always respecting the environment and contributing to the local economy and employment."
