The Fundación CajaCanarias launches its new concert series 'Enraizados' this Friday, September 4th, at the CajaCanarias Cultural Space in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, offering a proposal that merges music, art, and dance.

The 'Enraizados' series, an initiative by Fundación CajaCanarias to promote local talent, kicks off with a session featuring musician Fajardo and visual artist Cristina Reyes, a finalist for the 2025 CajaCanarias Manolo Millares Award. The event will take place at 7:00 PM in the Conference Hall of the aforementioned cultural space.
The performance will be complemented by the collaboration of contemporary dancer Ian Garside. Tickets for the recital are priced symbolically at 5 euros and are available on the foundation's official website.
Fajardo, originally from Fuerteventura and based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, is recognized for his musical career, characterized by the depth of his voice and the authenticity of his lyrics, crafting a unique soundscape.
Cristina Reyes, a finalist for the CajaCanarias Manolo Millares Plastic Arts Awards, will transform the hall with original artworks designed to encourage reflection on origins. The artist has exhibited internationally and in 2025 opened her first solo exhibition in the Canary Islands in Tenerife.
Ian Garside, an interpreter, creator, and pedagogue, will contribute his expertise in contemporary dance and physical theatre, having collaborated with renowned companies and developed his own creative work since 2020.
