The Hospital General de Fuerteventura has implemented an advanced industrial ironing line in its laundry service, an upgrade that optimizes the efficiency and processing capacity of hospital linen.

This significant update will enable the laundry service at the Hospital General de Fuerteventura to process up to 647 kilograms of clothing per hour, representing a notable increase in its operational capacity. The investment allocated for this improvement totals 225,770 euros.
The laundry service is crucial for the hospital's care activities, consistently ensuring the strict hygiene, quality, and safety conditions required for the textiles used. A team of approximately twenty professionals is responsible for managing the 40,000 kilograms of laundry processed monthly.
The staff comprising this service includes a housekeeper, a seamstress, eight laundry workers, six ironers, and three orderlies, who work in coordination to ensure the smooth operation of daily tasks.
