The Canarias Manga Festival has concluded in Puerto del Rosario after three days of intense cultural and entertainment activities, attracting between 10,000 and 11,000 visitors and generating an estimated economic impact of 800,000 euros in Fuerteventura.

This year's edition of the Canarias Manga Festival has closed its doors in Puerto del Rosario with a very positive balance, marked by high public participation, an extensive program, and a notable economic impact for the island. From October 23rd to 25th, the capital of Fuerteventura transformed into a meeting point for fans of manga, anime, video games, and Asian culture.
Over three days, Plaza de La Paz, Plaza Nuestra Señora del Rosario, and the Pabellón Oasis hosted 154 activities and 287 hours of content spread across eight spaces. The event featured 25 guests and offered free programming for all audiences.
The organization estimates that the festival generated an economic impact of approximately 800,000 euros in Fuerteventura, reflecting its capacity to attract visitors and boost commercial activity.
Among the main attractions were invited figures such as Santiago Segura, Florentino Fernández, Claudio Serrano, and Los Compas, who participated in meet-and-greets, talks, and signings. Other guests included Luis Posada, Laura Pastor, Guinxu, Masterchenf, and filmmaker Adrián Tejero, combining national references with local talent and digital creators.
The festival also featured cosplay contests, video game tournaments, wrestling and martial arts exhibitions, musical performances, Japanese culture activities, and gastronomic demonstrations, maintaining constant activity across all venues.
The commercial and artistic zone included 48 exhibitors, mostly from other Canary Islands, featuring 15 specialized stores, 30 artists in the Artist Alley, and three food trucks, offering merchandise, illustration, independent art, and gastronomy.
As a novelty, the official Canarias Manga Festival app was launched, facilitating program consultation, interactive maps, and activity alerts. The augmented reality game «Caza de Pollitos» (Chick Hunt) stood out, with nearly 2,000 captures, and the official website recorded over 21,900 page views.
The event, produced by Zukoabega Producciones and sponsored by the Cabildo de Fuerteventura and the Ayuntamiento de Puerto del Rosario, solidifies its position as an entertainment offering open to different generations.
