The ‘Ktálisis nómada’ program, an art and education initiative by the La Regenta Art Center, has opened its application period until December 4th to receive projects from artists and requests from educational centers from all Canary Islands.

The initiative, inspired by the original ‘Ktálisis’ project from Gran Canaria and subsidized by the Ministry of Culture, aims to strengthen the relationship between contemporary artistic practice, educational centers, and local communities. It extends to classrooms on all islands with the goal of incorporating artistic and creative experiences into learning processes.
Proposals are sought from artists and professionals of any artistic discipline, as well as public centers in the Canary Islands wishing to participate. All information and application forms are available on the La Regenta Art Center website.
‘Ktálisis nómada’ promotes cultural participation from an early age, fostering research, reflection, and creation among artists, students, and teachers. In this second edition, an artistic-educational project will be linked to each selected center, involving three working groups per center and activities for the entire educational community.
The call is aimed at public centers for Early Childhood Education, Primary, Secondary, Baccalaureate, Vocational Training, and Special Education in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands. The selection will consider territorial balance and collaboration between artists and educational spaces.
Centers and projects not selected will remain in the repository for future calls.
