The musical program will begin at 2:00 PM in the stadium's annex. The goal of this initiative, according to diocesan sources, is to integrate the identity and folkloric richness of the archipelago into a day described as a historic event for the region.
The lineup will feature prominent local performers and musical groups, who will offer a repertoire designed to create an atmosphere of welcome and celebration. The mass, scheduled for 6:30 PM, will feature the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra and its choir, as well as the attendance of numerous ecclesiastical representatives.
“"May this beloved land, which always surprises us, be a hand that reaches out and not a closed door."
The papal itinerary will also include a visit to Arguineguín, where a meeting will be held with migrants and rescue personnel. The route will continue through iconic locations such as the Pérez Galdós Theatre and the Cathedral of Santa Ana, before concluding at the stadium, where over 46,700 people have already registered to attend the main event.
