Dreamland Gran Canaria's coach, Néstor Che García, faces this Friday's vital match against Valencia Basket with optimism, a key game for the team's permanence in the Liga Endesa.

Argentine coach Néstor Che García analyzed the situation of Dreamland Gran Canaria on the eve of the final matchday of the Liga Endesa. The team is involved in a three-way battle to avoid relegation to the Primera FEB, alongside MoraBanc Andorra and Casademont Zaragoza.
The Canary Islands team, currently fifteenth with ten wins and 23 losses, depends on itself to secure permanence. However, the challenge is considerable: they must defeat Valencia Basket, a team competing for second place in the league and which has had a remarkable EuroLeague season, reaching the Final Four.
In case of a defeat against the Valencian team, Dreamland Gran Canaria would need Casademont Zaragoza to lose their match against Río Breogán to remain in the elite division.

"We face this final matchday with great responsibility. We are in a critical situation, but we have life. It's a huge motivation to believe in ourselves because all bets are against us. My pride is on the line because we must respect everyone."

The Argentine coach emphasized the team's mindset: "On the court, it's five against five. Anyone can win anywhere, especially in our situation. It would be something great, it's up to all of us. We need God to put on the Gran Canaria jersey." García highlighted the importance of the island's support in this crucial moment.
Che García stressed that "we know the whole island will be watching this game, everyone will be cheering us on. To be saved on the last matchday would be heroic," he concluded, showing his and his squad's determination.
