The incident, which took place on Sunday afternoon, prompted the mobilization of emergency services. The injured individual received immediate attention from medical personnel of the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) at the scene.
Subsequently, the cyclist was transported by a basic life support ambulance to Hospital Perpetuo Socorro, located in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, for specialized medical care.
The Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of the Government of the Canary Islands received the alert at 2:07 PM, promptly deploying the necessary resources for assistance and traffic management.
Officers from the Guardia Civil were responsible for regulating traffic in the affected area and conducting the relevant investigations to determine the circumstances of the accident.
