The incident occurred around 11:00 PM when the vehicle left the roadway and plunged down the slope. According to information from the Emergency and Safety Coordination Center (Cecoes) 112, firefighters from the Emergency Consortium had to extricate the driver, who was trapped between the seats and the roof of the car, which ended up upside down.
The Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) attended to the injured individuals at the scene. The man sustained severe multiple traumas and was transported by ambulance to the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria. The girl suffered a facial and head wound, for which she was taken to the Materno Infantil University Hospital of Canarias.
