The new film production A puño descubierto, directed and starring a Spanish actor, has begun filming in Barcelona and will continue for six and a half weeks, including various locations in Gran Canaria.

The cinematic project A puño descubierto, featuring the direction and performance of a well-known actor, has commenced its filming phase. Shooting began on April 17 in Barcelona and will extend for a period of six and a half weeks, covering various locations in both the Catalan capital and the island of Gran Canaria.
This is not the first time the actor has chosen the island for his productions. In 2015, he participated in the filming of the movie Palmeras en la nieve, with scenes shot at the Osorio estate, located in Teror.
The plot of A puño descubierto centers on the story of two brothers, Luis and Daniel, involved in the world of underground fights. The narrative explores the complexity of their bond, where one seeks to escape this environment while the other remains trapped, facing dilemmas of loyalty and sacrifice.
The screenplay for the film was written by Eduard Sola, known for works such as La casa en flames and Querer, in collaboration with the director. The technical team includes prominent professionals such as Edu Canet as director of photography, Núria Guardia as art director, Javier Frutos for editing, and Alba S. Torremocha in charge of the music.
