The Gran Canaria Cabildo has formalized the free transfer of a space in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to the Canarian Oliver Mayor Foundation Against Cystic Fibrosis, which will use it as a healthcare center for its activities.

The transfer, agreed upon by the Gran Canaria Cabildo, includes the first floor of a building located in the former Dermatological and Psychiatric Hospital of Hoya del Parrado. This space will be utilized by the Canarian Oliver Mayor Foundation Against Cystic Fibrosis to carry out its activities as a healthcare center.
The property, which features two floors and a basement, is situated at the entrance to the Tafira complex, accessible from the GC-800 road. The ceded area spans 343 square meters and will be available to the foundation for an initial period of five years, with the possibility of extension for another five years.
The request for transfer was submitted by the foundation last October. As part of the agreement, the entity will cover the costs associated with the installation of services such as telephony and Wi-Fi, as well as water and electricity supplies. Furthermore, the foundation commits to the maintenance and conservation of the space, including cleaning expenses and any necessary improvements, always with the express permission of the Cabildo for any construction work.
