The new version of 'Arminda' allows for natural conversations to resolve queries about procedures, calls for applications, and services of the island institution, available 24 hours a day throughout the year.
This digital modernization, part of the institution's strategy, improves upon the initial 2021 version by understanding context and offering adapted responses, surpassing predefined answers.
Users can interact with 'Arminda' using everyday language in Spanish, English, German, French, and Italian, facilitating information access for both residents and visitors.
The Minister of Presidency and Sustainable Mobility, Teodoro Sosa, highlighted the goal of making information available "in their own language, at any time of day, and without queues or waiting".
The Cabildo's corporate portal, which receives over 3.8 million annual visits, will benefit from 'Arminda' to manage frequent inquiries about administrative procedures, deadlines, and documentation.
The automation aims to reduce waiting times and free up administrative services from repetitive queries, allowing them to focus on more complex tasks.
The assistant has been developed using open-source technology, a decision intended to reduce reliance on large providers and strengthen the Cabildo's digital autonomy.
The new version retains the name and image of 'Arminda' to ensure users can easily identify the service while accessing much more advanced conversational capabilities.
