Club Baloncesto Gran Canaria has confirmed the continuity of Miquel Salvó, Carlos Alocén, and Pierre Pelos for the upcoming season through a creative dynamic on its 'X' (formerly Twitter) account.

The Gran Canarian club used a simulation of a fictional WhatsApp group on its social media to announce the retention of these three players, thus consolidating a significant part of the team's structure for Primera FEB.
The promotional video, released from the club's official account, includes the voices and initial statements of intent from the players. Pierre Pelos, speaking in excellent Spanish, encouraged new members to «get to know the best fans in the world».
With Alocén as one of the playmakers and covering the national player quota, the team's perimeter game is further strengthened by the signings of both the Uruguayan with Spanish passport Joaquín Rodríguez and the Dominican Marques Townes. Additionally, Joe Cremo will bring versatility and points to the wing positions, while Salvó continues his recovery.
In the paint, Luke Fisher will be a key player, leveraging the versatility of Pelos, who last season alternated between power forward (possibly his natural position), center, and even emergency small forward. The club is also looking to secure Jakub Urbaniak to cover the Local Formation Players (JFL) quota, while the sports management is expediting negotiations to sign a center, following the departure of South Sudanese forward Kur Kuath.
