The Carla Suárez Courts in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria hosted an intense week of competition for the Gran Canaria Fundación DISA Wheelchair Tennis Championship. The event was characterized by a notable sporting level and the participants' dedication to the principles of adapted sports.
In the women's singles category, Mar Díaz emerged as the Gran Canaria champion by defeating Rebeca Ortega in the final. Meanwhile, José Guerra claimed the title in the mixed singles draw, living up to expectations by overcoming Carlos Olivares in the decisive match.
The mixed doubles modality saw Carlos Olivares and Rebeca Ortega take the victory, while Braulio Falcón and José Guerra secured the runner-up position.

The trophy presentation was attended by Domingo García, president of the Gran Canaria Tennis Federation, who praised the competitors' performance and emphasized the significance of promoting wheelchair tennis on the island.
The organization of the event was managed by the Gran Canaria Tennis Federation, with the support of the Fundación DISA, the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation, the General Directorate of Physical Activity and Sport of the Government of the Canary Islands, the Insular Institute of Sports of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, and the Municipal Institute for the Promotion of Physical Activity and Sport of the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
