After several weeks of cryptic messages on social media, the mystery was unveiled at 9:00 PM (Canarian time) on April 20, 2026. Dozens of drones flew over the sea, forming the phrase "Quevedo presenta" in the sky along with the image of a baifo, the album's namesake. The more than ten-minute show also projected iconic silhouettes of the Canary Islands such as Roque Nublo, Teide, and a pintadera, in addition to a possible album cover.
At the end of the light show, music took over the beach. Speakers played 'Ni Borracho', the first single from the new album, and the classic 'Somos Costeros' by Los Gofiones, getting thousands of attendees dancing. The event concluded with a preview of a new song, a collaboration with Elvis Crespo that includes a special mention of the island of La Graciosa.
This album follows the success of 'Donde quiero estar' (2023) and 'Buenas noches' (2024), and adds to notable collaborations such as the 'Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52' with Bizarrap, popularly known as 'Quédate'.
El Baifo is the third album in the career of Pedro Luis Domínguez Quevedo, who at 24 years old has established himself as one of the most listened-to Spanish artists worldwide. This release solidifies his position in the international music scene.
