The incident occurred on July 25, 2026, at 7:53 PM, on Calle Delicias. The Canary Islands Government's 1-1-2 Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) received the alert and activated the necessary emergency resources.
Firefighters from the Gran Canaria Consortium extinguished the flames, which affected two rooms of the house, and subsequently ventilated the property. Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) personnel assessed and assisted the affected individual before transferring him to the health center.
The Civil Guard and Local Police also collaborated in the emergency operation deployed in the area.
