The La Guancha City Council has initiated improvement and repair works on the El Tejar-Chafarís road, establishing a provisional closure to ensure safety during the construction.

The Department of Works of the La Guancha City Council has commenced improvement efforts on the El Tejar-Chafarís road. Given the urgency, provisional interventions are being carried out to repair the surface and enhance the road's conditions.
This action serves as a preliminary step towards a comprehensive overhaul of the road, a project the City Council is collaborating on with the Cabildo of Tenerife and which already has the backing of the insular administration's Department of the Primary Sector.
Due to the ongoing surface works, a provisional closure of the El Tejar-Chafarís road has been decreed, from its intersection with La Burgaya street to the TF-344. The closure will be in effect from Wednesday, September 2, to Friday, September 4, and will resume on Monday, September 7, until the works are completed.
The City Council urges residents and road users to exercise extreme caution, respect the signage, and adhere to traffic restrictions while these tasks are underway.
