Motorcyclist Critically Injured After Accident in La Guancha

A 37-year-old motorcyclist is in critical condition at the University Hospital of the Canary Islands after suffering a traffic accident on the Balsa de la Tabona road in La Guancha.

The incident occurred this Monday, around 4:38 PM, when 112 Canarias received an alert about a collision between a car and a motorcycle. The rider was ejected due to the impact.
Emergency services attended to the injured man, who sustained severe multiple traumas. After being stabilized, he was transported by ambulance to the football field in La Guancha. There, a medicalized helicopter took him to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands (HUC), where he was admitted in critical condition.
Tenerife firefighters also participated in the rescue operation, securing the area for the helicopter's landing. Officers from the Guardia Civil and local Police assisted in preparing La Guancha's football field to facilitate access for ambulances and the aircraft, and they compiled the relevant accident report.
