The call is structured into three subsidy lines to support activity maintenance, modernization of production means, and the operation of organizations linked to agriculture, livestock, and fishing. The island's president, Casimiro Curbelo, detailed that the first line is directed at agricultural, agri-food, and livestock farms and industries.
This line includes aid for Social Security contributions, covering up to 90% of self-employed quotas and 50% for employed workers. It also covers investments in agricultural and livestock machinery, irrigation systems, processing and marketing equipment, and beekeeping. For professionals, aid for machinery and stainless steel containers for wineries can reach 90% of eligible expenses, up to a maximum of €20,000.
Support will also be provided for soil analysis, reconstruction of stone walls, and promotion of products linked to 'Alimentos de La Gomera'. For livestock, aid of up to €100 per Head of Large Livestock and €0.20 per square meter of cultivated fodder for animal feed is planned.
The second line is for the professional fishing sector, with subsidies for Social Security contributions (up to 90% for self-employed and 50% for employees). It includes aid for vessel acquisition (up to 60%, maximum €40,000), structural repairs and engine maintenance (up to 80%, maximum €10,000), as well as gear and electronic equipment.
The third line supports agricultural, livestock, and wine associations, irrigation communities, and fishing guilds, covering up to 50% of operating expenses, supplies, advice, and salaries. It also includes medicines for livestock sanitation campaigns.
The application period will be open from this Thursday until November 19th. Legal entities must submit applications electronically, while individuals can do so through the General Registry of the Cabildo de La Gomera.
