La Gomera Promotes Agri-Food Products at Madrid's Salón Gourmets

Alimentos de La Gomera is participating in the 39th edition of Salón Gourmets in Madrid, Europe's leading quality food and beverage fair, to enhance the national positioning of its agri-food products.

The island's delegation, led by the insular councilor for the Primary Sector, Noelia Morales, aims to solidify the presence of La Gomera's products in markets across the country. This event serves as a strategic platform to elevate the perception of La Gomera's artisanal quality to a high professional standard.

At this edition, the Alimentos de La Gomera quality seal has its own dedicated space in Pavilion 3 of IFEMA, designed to offer a more intimate and professional experience to visitors. Additionally, the island's products are also featured in the GMR Canarias area, ensuring comprehensive visibility for La Gomera's offerings throughout the fair.
The event not only focuses on product exhibition but also promotes internationalization and direct contact with distributors, facilitating commercial agreements. The diversity of La Gomera's offerings is remarkable, ranging from wines with Designation of Origin to coffee, mojo sauces, cheeses, almogrotes, gofios, jams, mistela, gomerón, smoked preserves, honeys, and traditional pastries.
Salón Gourmets, recognized as Europe's premier quality food and beverage fair, is expected to host over 2,000 exhibitors across an area of 70,000 square meters. More than 110,000 professionals are anticipated to visit, including 15,000 international attendees from 90 countries, with a program featuring over one thousand activities and various thematic zones.
