Update on the Condition of Bus Accident Victims in La Gomera

Three patients under observation at Hospital Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe are expected to be discharged, while those transferred to Tenerife remain stable.

The Canary Islands Government's Ministry of Health has released an update regarding the condition of individuals affected by a tourist bus accident that occurred on Friday, April 10, in La Gomera.

According to the latest information from the management of Hospital Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, the three individuals who were under observation in the emergency department are showing favorable progress. These patients are expected to be discharged later this Saturday.
Regarding the patients transferred to Tenerife, the two individuals admitted to Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de Candelaria remain hospitalized. One is in stable condition, while the other is stable but in serious condition. The person evacuated to Hospital Universitario de Canarias also remains hospitalized and in stable condition.
The incident took place on the GM-2 road, at kilometer 2, near the environmental complex of San Sebastián de La Gomera. The tourist vehicle plunged down an embankment, leading to the accident.
The Ministry of Health has confirmed that it will continue to monitor all affected individuals, ensuring ongoing medical care following the accident.
