Two transport operators experienced a tense situation in La Palma after allegedly being threatened with a gun and a machete due to a delivery error at a property in the Las Breñas area.

A parcel delivery error nearly turned into a tragedy on the island of La Palma. Two transport sector workers found themselves in a serious risk situation after allegedly being threatened with a gun and a large machete. The incident occurred after they went to the wrong address to deliver merchandise in the Las Breñas area.
The professionals were on their usual delivery route when, due to a confusion with the destination details, they arrived at the wrong property to deliver a package. Upon approaching the house and attempting to complete the delivery, the resident reacted violently, according to reports from the local media.
The homeowner allegedly greeted the workers carrying a firearm and a large bladed weapon. The affected workers were surprised by the resident, who intimidatingly displayed both weapons to demand they immediately leave his property, all stemming solely from the delivery location error. Given the seriousness of the situation, the delivery personnel retreated from the scene to ensure their physical safety.
The relevant authorities were immediately notified of the incident. The operators reported the details of the assault to the municipality's Local Police, whose officers took charge of the initial investigations and inspections in the area to clarify the alleged aggressor's actions. The control operation and the seriousness of the incident also required the direct involvement of the affected town hall's Security councilor, who traveled to the scene to carry out monitoring and coordination tasks. Law enforcement agencies are maintaining the corresponding administrative and police proceedings against the alleged perpetrator.
