The incident occurred during a graduation celebration held last weekend. The affected group consists of 19 minors and five adults, all of whom are experiencing mild symptoms and showing positive recovery progress.
The Epidemiological Surveillance Unit of the Canarian Health Service has launched an investigation to identify the source of the outbreak and monitor for any potential additional cases.
Symptoms, primarily vomiting, diarrhea, and occasional fever, appeared roughly 24 hours after food consumption. The wide variety of food served at the event makes pinpointing the exact source difficult, though health authorities suspect a viral origin.
