The incident occurred around 4:51 PM, when the Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES 1-1-2) received an alert reporting that a car had overturned and the driver had been ejected.
Following the alert, 1-1-2 immediately dispatched the necessary emergency resources. Personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), including a sanitary ambulance and a basic life support ambulance, arrived at the scene. They were accompanied by a primary care doctor and nurse.
Firefighters from La Palma, the Guardia Civil, environmental personnel, and the road maintenance service also attended the accident site. Upon arrival, healthcare professionals confirmed that the woman had sustained injuries incompatible with life and could only pronounce her deceased at the scene.
